Here comes the snow.

Well just wanted to say it is starting to snow.
It is supposedly going to be artic conditions here soon (in the next few days.)
I hope I survive.

I like snow. Why does everyone start complaining when it snows?

Oh dear, I can't go to work now....

 

Because snow is cold and therefore unpleasant. And its hard to walk when its snowing.

 

It's also white and pretty, which is nice.

And you can always have a bowl of porridge before you go out, and you can wear snow shoes.

 

Then cars and people make it all gray and ugly....
Porridge sounds nice though. I want some right now.

I'm allergic to cold, so I think its understandable that I'm not a fan of snow

 

I too like snow. When I am sitting inside, nice and warm.
I ride a bike and I can see myself falling under the wheels of a 8 wheeled truck.

 

That can happen with or without snow.

True. But, the likelyhood is increased by a factor of 10.
I also notice on BBC Leicester, there is a 17 mile and hour easterly wind.
Added to the low visibilty due to the dark (I finish at 7pm) and the snow...i'm a gonna.

If the snow is so bad then most traffic will be slowed down a snail's pace, I'd have thought that would make it marginally safer.

 

Fair point. But it is not so bad as to slow traffic down.
It is more to do with my circumstances.
I can take more care and slow myself down I suppose.
It is just not so easy to ride safely when the weather is against you.
I could always ride on the pavement and knock an old lady down.
