Does anyone know an Herbalist, or even better yet is anyone an herbalist themselves? I've recently became very interested in this profession and am seriously considering taking it up at some point in my life. I love herbal remedies and medications as opposed to the over the counter medications like tylenol and advil that can be harmful to your system. I'm sure some herbal remedies can be harmful as well though. I'd just really like to get any information on herbs that have certain effects or information about the field. Thanks!

why not study it? picking up a couple courses @ a local community college can give you much better info.
I know 2 herbalists, they both do herbalogy, qi gong, taiji, but they both live in Nebraska. I am sure that if you look around, you can find a few. Try looking at local Kung Fu schools, particularly the more traditional styles of Kung Fu. Thats where I met both of the herbalists that I know. You can also search the web to do a local search to find TCM practitioners near you. TCM is Traditional Chinese Medicine, in case you were wondering
