I was interested in some health food remedies about 20 years ago. But you know, they are so expensive sometimes. But I researched the topic (this was before the age of the internet). And I found that the cheapest way to get herbal remedies is in the form of herbal teas. I was never sure if though if they were as effective. And dosage (milligrams, etc.) is not usually listed on herbal tea boxes. Also an herbal book at the time said you can find a lot of natural cures in your own kitchen. Herbs, spices, fruits, vegetables, vinegar, etc. I know the Dollar Tree has many herbs and spices for a $1.25 these days. I have found that you usually have to use a little more. But it's still worth it. But, I would imagine the same rule would apply when using them for health benefits. Just use a little more. Thoughts?
I would like to know more have just recently started researching herbal supplements myself. Anytime I have to take medications, I am amazed at the list of side effects
Herb teas are great! I use throat coat when I get a cough. It's expensive, but it works! Then there's a simple ginger/honey tea for sore throats, cheap!
