herbal healing garden

    hey there, making and edible and healing garden... any suggestions out there? its going to be mainly indoors but i do have some balcony room..

    I always suggest, grow what you like. Or just start with the basics: basil, sage, rosemary, oregano, thyme, parsley, and mint. If there's enough room a cayenne pepper plant or two.
    What ever herbs you like to cook with, grow them. Don't worry about trying to grow your own medicinal herbs until you have more room & a lot more experience. There is a lot of variability between varieties within a species, between individual plants, at different times of the year, soil and other growing conditions...well, lots of things can effect the essential oils in herbs used for healing.
    But growing plants (herbs & others) that are high in nutrition as preventatives is easier & more effective.
