Do you perfer Henna Tattoos or Real Tattoos? I like henna because if you screw up, it'll wear off in two-four weeks. And it's easy to do again so it's just like a real one in a way.

Henna tattoos are great for a fun adornment or people who haven't fully decided whether a real tattoo is best for them. So, henna can be a great option for certain people. I also understand that is certain cultures, henna is an important part of wedding and other major rituals and practices, so henna can have deep meaning.

That said, i don't feel there is any real comparison to the real thing. Henna is mono chromatic and the amount of detailing is limited to line designs. Tattooing opens up a whole new word of color/shading/design possiblities. Also, I feel the permanence and trouble in getting the tattoo is part of the appeal.

So, I think they're both great options for the right person, but hardly comparable.

i prefer real tattoos over henna tattoos. getting a tattoo is more than a picture on your body, its also going through the pain and experience of getting it.

You can't really compare coz they're so totally different. Henna is great for temporary decorations, but obviously what you can do with it is so limited compared to real tattooing.

real tattoos to me, are as much about the expierience in getting them as they are decoration and meaning,
for me, getting tattooed is therepy. I find myself wanting another one everytime I'm having a hard time in my life. I love the feeling of the needle on my skin and the sound of the gun and the shop i go to i absolutely love the people and the atmosphere is wonderful. I can't get that thereputic feeling with henna.
Henna tattoos are fun too though and i thinkg they're beautiful, but real tattoos are so much more spiritual and meaningful. I'm in love with them.

i agree there is no real comparison. Henna has a great purpose and meaning, but nothing beats a real tattoo once you have found the right tat. If you are still looking or weighing your options then henna is a great tool, but real tattoos are so much more intricate.
