jimi is awesome. ok.. i dont enjoy actually listening to everything the man ever did .. well.. sometimes i do.. lol alot of it anyway.. still... i love jimi. i wish he was alive and could have my babies lol

Hmm... I play a lot like Hendrix... but I don't always want to, you know. It's just that every time I pick up a strat it sounds like him and it's starting to piss me off. I can't play any damn hardcore blues... if I does it starts to sound like red house... It's that damn tremolo bar... I need to start playing my les paul again.
Jimi is my all time fav. Even after 20 years of tearing his stuff apart, he still jams me up. The thing is, he's not only a master guitar player (understatement), but a master songwriter. Man, "Bold as Love" still puts a lump in my throat.
How about Hey Baby(land Of The New Rising Sun)??? i always cry when i hear this song... just excellent. Well this summer i went to japan to Fuji rock festival(3days of music and peace) and here Mitch and Billy were on the stage,it was just amazing,perfect, Freedom was the first song that they played,then wind cries mary,izabella,manic depression, voodoo child,red house,dolly dagger etc etc.. Hendrix is just a different kind of musician,well i think that you know that... I stand up next to a mountain and chop it down with the ledge of my hand... i m a Voodoo Child...
couldnt agree more man!!! that entire album is pretty cool actually....little wing is amazing!!! Axis:bold as love and electricladyland are, in my opinion, some of his best albums - those and ' are you experienced' - the others are good but not as good i think. peace and love xxxxx
True! Are you Experienced? is a excellent album made in 3days so of course it cannot be as extraordinary as AXIS and Electric ladyland. How about Live performance? What s your best live performance?

erm well im only 16 so ive never had the privilage of seeing him play or anything( he died before even my dad could see him, and he's one of the biggest hendrix fans around!)....but i have a greatest hits-type-album, aswell as the classic vynils, and it has a 2nd Live cd which has performances from all over. From that i would probably have to go with the most obvious and say woodstock.....his version of star spangle banner is AMAZING!!!!!! seriously, if u havent heard it already check it out coz its like nothing uve ever heard!!!! peace and love xxxxx
