Much thanks but I also found this site http://www.beadage.net/hemp/two_knots.shtml it seems pretty helpful, but I'm not sure how to determine how much of a length I need. :O
Dude I know how to make a square knot, and I followed that site, then looked at it and it IS a square knot! Wow.. This will be easy now
You can buy a book at hobby lobby if you want to. They''ll have most common knots and some unusual ones. Just dont purchase the hemp at hobby lobby because it sucks more than a russian prostitute.
Okay, I've been working all night on this necklace and got to the end, and couldn't figure out what to do, and hit a deadend, I tried so much stuff that I ruined the necklace and it kind of fell apart.. for one I don't think I made everything long enough, and also the hemp I have is much to thick, so I need to get some thinner for my necklace, I think maybe this thickness would be good for a bracelet, so I'm going to try that now. But does any one know I'm suppose to do to make the ends meet?
Noone knows? Please if someone could tell me how to make the ends meet, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks <3<3 Peace
http://www.ehow.com/how_152_make-hemp-necklace.html In case anyone is wondering about this subject, that site is great, it gives instructions on finished your project unlike that other one I sent. Peace <3
jsut go to a michaels craft store or even wal mart they have kits- or just go to a head shop and buy some ready made
I did it! It looks nice too! I made a bracelet, I can get pics if you guys are really concerned Peace <3
I've just recently started making hemp jewelry too. I'm having trouble with the hemp. The hemp I bought seems really stiff or something. It's just not like the pre-made stuff I've bought in stores. Is there a trick or something to conditioning the hemp so it's softer??
try the three strings into a tight knot then cut two off leaving one left.. put a bead on the string then tie that. That's the most efficient way in my opinion. You should put the loop on the other end around the bead to keep it on your neck.
