Better watch it. One mistake is all it takes to kill you. I think that it would be better to have someone with experience check them in person.
Someone who knows can tell with the right information. Predominately what happens is that in these circumstances there is not enough information to say and that ends up being the verdict. It is my verdict at the moment.
I suppose most (or many) people have heard of the mistakes that have been made with mushrooms. When I lived in Hawaii, a whole family made a mistake with some. Some died and some ruined their livers, etc. Be handy to know a mycologist.
For a psilocybe specimen, it should 'bruise' blue in the stem when picked and you should take a piece of cardboard or paper to hold the underside of the cap of a specimen flush against for several minutes, which should make a dark/purpleish spore print. I'd google to see what types of mushrooms you looking for are found in your area and what toxic types of mushrooms are found in your area. In some places, there are toxic types, that grow alongside psilocybin, so be careful and if there is any doubt, err on the side of caution and don't take it. Mushroomobserver.org is a worthwhile source for more in depth inquiries.
