How long does it take for the smell of pot to leave an area u wer just blazing in?

if say you hotboxed a cop car then the density of the smoke and the lack of circulation would mean the smell will linger for ages...but if you need to kill the smell quickly do a shit in the room.

ok good because i blazed up and like 10 mins later my rent walked back there and i was thinkin they might smell it and id be fuckd because i was getting fried lol
