me and my bf were having sex sunday and i was on my period well we used a condum and it had spermacide on it and it broke he didnt know and he came inside of me. we freaked but 6 or so hours latter i went to my older brother who keeps EC handy and he gave me some. is there any chance i could still get pregnet?
_theoretically_ you can't say 100% no, but the chances are VERY, VERY low. given a normal cycle, you have probably 12 days before a sperm could encounter another egg, sperm hardly ever live that long, plus most sperm probably would get *ahem* washed out from your period, plus it had spermicide, and plus you took EC which works very well, especially when taken quickly. So, I'd say you do NOT need to worry. Given the entire scenario, the risk of being pregnant is SOOOO small that I don't think it should be of concern. By the way, taking the EC quickly was a very good idea. Smart move. Works best when taken quickly!
thanks, my aunt works a planned parenthood and she gives my brother stuff for free, i'm just to scared to ask her for anything. but my brother understands that and helps me out
you shouldnt be scared to ask for help - but it doesn't have to be from your aunt! you can still go to the doctor and get pregnancy tested - they will (should) respect your privacy and not tell your parents or anything. don't let fear get in the way of looking after yourself properly...go get tested! it's better than finding out you ARE pregnant. and if you're gonna have sex regularly, you should be on birth control too as well as condoms.
i have no job or car niether does my bf, i've been begging mom just to drive me to the doctors. I've made apointments that i couldnt go to. i havent been for to a doctor let alone my gyno for two years. I'm still gonna get a over the counter pregnancy test tho
why won't your mom drive you? that's just off. if you gotta go to the doctor's, you gotta go! you need to be in a situation where you have access to doctor's and gyno!
that sounds like a load of excuses to me... sit the woman down, explain that your health is no laughing matter and as you're her daughter it should be her priority too. make a solid arrangement as to when she will take you.
i'll try again... i'm starting to get worried i've been bleeding for a week straight... kinda scary females in my family aways have problems with hormones and vagina stuff... my mom (when she was my age) bleed for a month staright and had a heart attack a year latter....
good luck if your mom just won't take you, maybe a friend, or your borther...or can you take a bus or something?
