I just bought this dashiki type shirt and it's like a light hemp brown kind of color. Well, I washed it with another new shirt that was black, and it bled through and now it's all blochy. So what can I do to fix this? I've always mixed colors and this has never happened before.

Rit dye makes something called color remover for laundry mistakes...you can usually find it in the laundry section of the grocery store or sometimes in the craft section at walmart...but i would be careful because this stuff is strong.... it totally changed the color of my b/f's pj pants too...they were once red and now they are tan but all of the black dye and red dye that bled onto the laundry are now gone from when my b/f tried to help do laundry....

...so this is just a suggestion but use at your own risk...i'd be wary if your shirt was dyed naturally
