    Hey guys,

I've been growing 2 plants of the sativa strain for about 6 months now and one of of the heads this random cotton looking thing started to grow on it. Does anyone know what this could be?

Looks like it could be mold, get an anti fungal spray and follow the directions on the label:>)

Hey, do you know if a fan will help make sure you don't get mold? I think my room is a bit humid

If it's just a spider, no biggie. I fear you have spider mites. Questions...
Do the plants look healthy and thriving?
Do you see any tiny brown spots on any of the large fan leaves?
Is that cotton stuff only in one spot and not in many places?

Take a magnifying glass, turn over some of the large leaves and look for tiny spots, white-ish probably. If you see em, you got mites. If not, then probably no biggie.
If so... google spider mites and best of luck to you. They're a bitch. The only thing that worked for me was Doktor Doom.
    Just my experience.

Hi there i was unable to see pics so i cant tell you if its bud rot or spider but to answer your question yes an oscalating fan is good for air circulation throughout growth epically in flowering in humid conditions and could help prevent bud rot however keep in mind some strains dont like to much humidity and will not do well and some are more tolerant to it...hopefully you have a hydromonitior to tell you humidity conditions I don't know what kind of system you are using but if you are in a closed environment and don't have one you should think about getting a dehumidifier however i am a few grows deep in a fairly dry climate using a passive exhaust system with oscillating fan and have never had to worry about bud rot it is going to be based on the environment you are growing in....I hope I could help I was a complete noob when i came to this forum and from information from this site and alot of other research id say im half way decent so I want to pass on information to help other like this forum help me im sorry i could not see your pics, goodluck! let me know if you continue to have problems i may be able to help you better with more information oh and btw in flower i recommend keeping humidity under 60 percent any higher and you are asking for problems imo
