emiel, I quite understand what it means in english, but I think there must be a kind of formula in French to express this idea, maybe a sentence used by the hippies, to say that "we should take care of the earth". I have to translate this sentence which is the title of an article about climate change and the harm that humans do to the planet...and they say in the article that it is a "hippy phrase"!
