Or, you if you like some rockin' guitar riffs try 'The Ocean' by Led Zeppelin or 'Out on the Tiles' by Zep. these are powerfull songs.Get back to me and tell me what you think.

ur all the way over there...long way way...have been there though..its a beautiful part of the world....i dont know if u travel much but there is this great site u can join and i have used it so many times. u can travel and u stay in peoples houses. did i mention for nothing?..i used it all the way around the usa for 3 months and in other countries..i chose to stay with families though and not single men...im not affiliated with the site or anything but its a cool way to travel. normally its the accomadation wich costs a fortune when u travel and with this, where i would of only been way for one month, i could afford to be away for three. www.globalfreeloaders.com
So you like guitars then. I recommend you try out one of the top jazz guitarists still living - Pat Metheny. He's been going for bloody ages and does some really good stuff that is in many was pioneering and unique. Also he did touch on the rock scene once or twice - have a listen to a track of his called "Roots of Coincidence". And as for his jazz stuff, well i strongly recommend anything you can find from his album called "Speaking of Now".
I recently purchased the new Modest Mouse, Rooney and Beastie Boys CD's and like all of them. Give these a listen and you won't be disappointed. Lot's of good stuff.
I've been really getting into Days of the New. Not the easiest stuff to find, but definatly worth the trouble. Jethro Tull was a good suggestion, I love JT, and another good bad if you are into guitar shit is pretty much anything by Led Zeppelin. Enjoy.
check out George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic or maybe Nickel Creek!!! Two completely different styles but great bands...
hey sax..shary..ganja and funky one....thanx for the music..i love guitar, my fav prob is ( u can laugh ) little wing by stevie ray vaughn..i listen to anything cept prob hard core rap.....am downloading some of music u mentioned now...i find it really exciting when i hear of bands that i have not heard of before and download there music. most of the bands u have mentioned in this thread is pretty much the first time i have heard the name..cept led zep.....Ummagunna...i forgot how great led zep sounded, loved both, especially the ocean....i had never heard of jethro tull before tonight and i think im going to be hooked. i could only get the 1 on kazza but will try again later when perhaps all the peeps in the usa are awake and online.... worst thing i guess about being in australia is that sometimes with music releases we dont get it to much later on. i could be saying to u. o man. i lheard of this band the white stripes, download their music and u would be saying..o derrrr..that was 2 months ago. lol. so online is a cool tool to find new music from people like u all....if any of u want to listen to anything different. powderfinger and a few of my fav songs are - my happiness - whatever makes you happy - these days - the day you come - already gone i like silverchair too and my fav song would have to be of theirs - after all these years - anas song - thanx a bunch for the tunes
ya so there are to many good bamds out there to name them all so i will give you some of my favorites and their best cd's. you have to listen to the clash(london calling), the who (tommy) the used (only one they have) hopesfall(the satilite years) sublime(greatest hits) any bob marly and storey of the year is good and the mars volta. they are all awsome and there is a bit from every type of music.
I'll just drop some names that have yet to be mentioned which I love and I think anyone would find interesting: Wilco, Ani Difranco, Niel Young, Manu Chao, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Phish, Tryo, Ry Cooder, Tragically Hip meh ya, that's about it off the top of the old noggin, check it out and have yourself some good listenin peace
If you like guitars and that sorta stuff, i recommend some late eighties, early nineties grunge music. I know grunge is a word long dead. But the music is still there. Get some music by the Melvins, Green River, The Fastbacks, The U men, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Sonic Youth, Bikini Kill, Dickless, Tad, Hole, Mother Love Bone, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains. Anything like that is good rockin guitar music.
hey thanx u guys..i havnt stopped downloading...i download the one song u mention and then i have to download the whole band to see what else they have. i think in 3 days i have downloaded over 200 songs. lol....i had heard of jack johnson before and have his albums but that volta. i had never heard of before and love it.
Forget about Linkin Park .Listen to Helmet "Meantime" Mars Volta "Comatorium" Pixies "Surfer Rosa" Primus "Sailing the seas of cheese" Blood Brothers "Burn Piano Island Burn" Tool "Aenima" Soundgarden "Superunknown" Cursive "Ugly Organ" Desaparecidos
Wilco is awesome. Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is ... well I don't even know what to say about it. Their new album is pretty rockin too. Especially Theologians and Hummingbird. I saw these guys at Bonnaroo, and wow. What a band. The Mars Volta... what an odd bunch. I saw them when they toured with A Perfect Circle (one of the only people there to see The Mars Volta) and they were just nuts on stage. It's taking me a while to warm up to them, but it's pretty decent. The Flaming Lips are good, as well as Polyphonic Spree. I'd also recommend Nick Drake to a Bob Dylan fan, or anyone who appreciates lovely lyrics paired with beautiful music. If you like jambands, The String Cheese Incident is a good choice, as is moe. and Umphrey's McGee. Sorry to go on and on... I get so excited about this sort of thing.
