Hi everyone, im really concerned about my mum, she is under a lot of stress at the moment and is on the verge of a nervous breakdown, i'd really apreciate any tips or advice you can give me, we had a chat tonight and she is bad, im going to give her massage and reflexology for the next month or so and see if that helps, one of each treatment a week, one mid week, one at the weekend to give her body a chance to clear out any of the toxins she has no doubt built up. Ive told her to drink more (she drinks a lot of water anyway), to rest when she can and avoid too much caffine and ciggarettes, she has a thyroid problem which leaves her tired and she has gained weight that she can't shake even with pills from the doctor (she used to be really slim) and she is a bit more down than usuall about that. any advice on how to help her cope with the stress would be apreciated, as would any ways i could help boost her self esteem, shes having trouble with a new job and is very down on herself.

    Thanks for your time guys.xxxxx

Exercise is a great way to get rid of stress. See if you can get her to go walking with you and step lively when you do.

    Good luck to you both.
