Help for a first timer on couples smoking

i need the opinion of some fellow weed smokers here, ok i dated this guy who smokes very often for like 2 yrs, i never smoked, just wasnt ready i guess, and he mentioned once how it would be cool if he could smoke with me. well now i am ready and i wanna do it, i am going to his house friday, but i dont know how to bring it up to him that i wanna get high with him. i have a wierd fear of rejection and am scared of him saying something other than sure! but from what i have heard in the past from him he would want to do it. so do you guys like smoking with a significant other and think he wouldnt mind me asking? i know it sounds stupid but how do i ask?

 

It is the best smoking with someone you care about! And if your b/f's a pot smoker I dont see any problem with him sayin no to smoking with you.

hmmm the way you could bring it up is buy some papes from the store and give it to him, he'll get the idea!

Just come right out and tell him that you'd like to get high with him.

Or, if your able to get a hold of some decent bud, surprise him with it.

 

well i think the fact i bought him a 120 dollar bowl shaped like a goldfish that is absolutely beautiful for christmas is good enough to get the point across instead of paper, i was gunna ask him when he was gunna let me smoke his fish, but maybe i should just say i wanna get high with you, then it isnt a question that way.

 

i would like to surprise him with some bud, but he is funny about smoking anything but his, he doesnt trust many people with it except one certain source, which is understandable.. not that he doesnt trust ME but the source i may have gotten it from.

smoke his fish... lol... i feel for you but i am in your boyfriend position. I was a big pothead for about 2 years and i have slowed down quite a bit now to focus on my studies but if you ask anyone here "once a stoner, always a stoner". Anyway my girlfriend when i got with her didnt smoke and didnt like it when i did. I hid it from her so when she was around i wouldnt or what have you but got sick of it. one day she was asking me questions like "how does it feel" or "doesnt it hurt your lungs" and all i could tell her is she would have to try it to tell, she didnt get high as most dont on their first try so she didnt do it anymore. About a year later she decided to get in on the rotation with me and my buddy with some denk shit and I have never seen her so out of it laughing in my life. Since then she knows what it is, and its not a big deal if i tell her i wanna get high, so it works out for both of us, but the first time was really an experience. If he is as you put it a stoner he will probably get moist in his pants if you ask to get high with him, i know i did....

 

- if you're dating steadily, i assume that you probably have had sex with him before. note that for a decent number of people (particularly girls, from what i hear people say about themselves) marijuana tends to put you more in the mood....it feels nice even to just cuddle up to someone you care about when you're stoned. for your first time it probably won't make you outright horny, but it may be nice to ensure that you have some alone time with him either way. it would be best if it were only the two of you the entire time though, then you won't worry about looking stupid or something (which is a fear many people have their first few times smoking...but its all you, and no one else will care that much unless they're in a bad mood)

- if he smokes when you're around, it would be easiest to just wait until he starts to smoke and just say "hey, could i have a hit?" or something like that. or just say you think you'd like to try it sometime.

-remember that not everyone likes it, a few rare people get overly paranoid or anxious when they smoke. if this is a problem, it usually doesn't happen right away but manifests later on as you smoke more.

-a lot of people smoke heavily from the get go, and if you do don't be surprised if you find some people changing their opinion of you. its not necessarily a reflection of you as a person, but ease your way into it until you feel you can fully appreciate how marijuana could possibly change your life. i would smoke quite a lot of pot every day if i had the money, but even as a dedicated smoker there are certain people i know who simply should NOT smoke pot often, and i would think less of them if they did. not because smoking is bad, but because for SOME rare people it can "change" you in some undesirable ways. know that if you start smoking heavily from the get go, the marijuana coupled with other changes in everyday life could potentially cast a poor light on you in your significant other's eyes....this is unlikely, but that kind of thing does sometimes happen.

-have GOOD snacks and beverages on hand....anything will do, but better is better

hell yeah! its kinda like a stoner code: if a mate asks u to share ur smoke with them u gotta, its like stoner etiquite (sp?). infact i doubt u would be able to find a stoner who would said no wen there gf asked if she could have sum of the weed....

Just after he hits it then move your hands to grab it and take a big hit, watch the look on his face change . I dont know anyone who would not like his g/f to not smoke unless he hates himself for smoking and I dont know a stoner who is like that heh.

 

shaba - yes, in almost every city i've been to in the us i've seen a tim hortons, but we don't have so many of them as in canada because most of us don't treat it like fast food.....just pop in for a donut or coffee or something......

however i didn't take the picture, and i definitely don't recognize the cop cars. i can't make out what it says on the side, but it looks like OPP which i would guess to be something like ontario provincial police? or else other people's property, and if thats the case you could say i'm down wit OPP (yeah, you know me). also, the lights are all red, and i've never seen a cop car in the US without red AND blue lights, sometimes with white in there as well.

 

heres something you should learn about male stoners:
having a girlfriend who wants to smoke with you is a damn awesome thing. the exception is if you are really annoying when you get high lol but hed still wanna know. and if hes your boyfriend then its most likely he wouldnt find you that annoying stoned, if you were.

if you, one day, just said to him 'honey, ive decided, i want to try weed', there is next to no chance it wont put a smile on his face

heh....well tim hortons is the best place on earth... and its not really a fast food place...mmmmm ice cap......any way being a huge fan of timmys.... there is only like 28-30 stores in the us.. so u must not go very many places. hehe compared to the 3200+ stores in canada... and yea there OPP caars i have seen the pic befor. cops also hang there cuz timmys gives them free stuff. they like cops comming aaround cuz it keeps drunk teenagers awaay hehe

 

yer the only reason hed say no would be if he was trying to keep you innocent or uncorrupted or something lol, but since hes asked you in the past, it means he wants to.

 

where did you hear that? because i know of at least 3 or 4 in my vicinity, and thats just a small, small portion of suburban columbus ohio area. there's plenty more in other suburbs and in the city itself. plus i've seen a number of them in indiana and other places around. i seriously doubt there's only 30 stores in the us, everyone around here knows what it is and i see commercials for them all the time, even on national television.
