Help finding this book! "I chose to live"

Oh my GOD this is driving me mental!!!! I read in Readers Digest (the only thing we had at work to read lol) about an autobiography written by a young Chilean woman. She was in her fourth year of medical school when she was in a terrible train accident and lost *all four* of her limbs. But she miraculously survived it and managed to get prosthetic limbs and go back to medical school and become a doctor! AMAZING story that I want so badly to find, but I lost the title of it (and the author's name).

I've been looking for it on Amazon and Google forever now, and I know this is a huuugely long shot but if anyone knows what I'm talking about, please please please help me out here because I want so badly to know! I was so sure the title was something like "Escoge vivir" or "Elige vivir" ("I chose to live"), but I'm pretty sure there is an english version. Any help and I will send you soooo many happy vibes and love!
