help a sister out?

Hey all you fabulous seamstresses!
I love all the beautiful dresses you post, but I have not been able to find a pattern for this style of dress. My sweet sister made a couple few beautiful dresses in the last couple years, but she hasnt for awhile.
Anyone help me- help my sister with a pattern or a couple hints? She just needs a little inspiration, ( and maybe Ill get a new dress out of it!)
She is feeling kinda down lately and I know how good it feels to make something nice, I want to see her smile!

What are her questions? What style of dress is she making?

 

well, maybe the short and long apron style dresses. I saaw a girl with one that was open down the back, crisscrossed to tie at thebottom right below her waist
She said a friend made it for her several years ago.
I would love if you could direct me to a pattern of some kind
