Greetings Jen! I sincerely hop you're enjoying all that HIP has to offer! As for Illinois, I've been there 3 times, all involving Chicago:

February 23-25, 2009 = With the twin for our 38th birthday.
July 24-26, 2010 = By myself. Also took an NICTD train into Hammond, IN.
August 2, 2010 = Southwest connection at Midway (MDW), coming back from Columbus, OH. Yes, I had to go west before going east. Strange!

Hi All,

I'm new to the site as well, and really enjoy what I'm seeing. I'll be right up front with everyone... I recently published a coming-of-age novel about the '70s and have been scouring the web for like minds who might enjoy reading it. I'm not going to hard sell the book here, but I'm certainly looking to connect with people who have an interest in that decade.
