my name is chloe and i am doing a paper about hippies and i was wondering if anyone would be willing to answer any questions about the hippy lifestyle or hippies in general? [IMG]
like how has being a hippy changed in the past decade?
    or maybe where hippism began
or perhaps even opinions on why other people don't like hippies?
    thank you. [IMG]

I would recommend that you be less vague.

Define "hippie lifestyle." I consider myself a hippie, but I have an established home, but perhaps you prefer the nomadic type.

What specifically would you like to cover in your paper? Why not post your questions here and wait for responses?

i'm searching more for the beliefs of people who consider themselves a hippy,
i'd like to undo misconceptions and create a better understanding of what it means to be a hippy.

heh, seems to me you're looking for someone to do the bulk of research for yah. What do YOU think about "us"?

heh, sorry, i didn't mean to come off that way
it's a strictly primary source paper so i have to interview people and i thought people might have things to say...
me, i don't really have an opinion about hippies, i think people should be able to live they want and think what they think without other imposing on them.

Even if it is a primary source paper, you still need to do background research so you know what to ask your sources. I suggest you read up on the hippie movement of the 60's, the resurgence in the 80's and any other information you can find in the library.

Come back when you have made a list of questions. This is the best way to ensure you will get a quality interview out of your sources and help your paper take on more depth.

Trust me, I read research papers for a living. I know what will make an A quality paper. :)
