They are the shit. I used to listen to them when I was like.. eight. I got into a big band phase, then. I just found the CDs I listened to all the time, back then, too. I used to listen to some bizarre shit, for an eight year old. Heck, I was pretty disturbed, then. Squirrel Nut Zippers are really the shit. I think they're trying to re-organize the band right now. The trumpet player and some other dudes died of heroin overdoses... but they're still around Chapel Hill, NC... their drummer was my grandma's neighbor. For some reason, when I go camping, I eventually wind up cooking eggs while listening to Wagner. I always bring Vermont sharp cheddar on camping trips...
