I am Tony Lavale Jefferson, Jr. Soldier, Writer, Poet, and all around creative mind!

Writing is the reason I wake to the next day, it frees me to create from my own experiences and allows me complete creative control! My writing is real, raw and full of a wide range of varying emotions that touch the reader’s heart and ignite something in their soul.

From Pine Bluff, Arkansas to my present duty station in Colorado Springs, from the sands of Iraq to the beaches of Haiti, I have been there experiencing different cultures, coming up on hard times, struggling just to live another day.

I don’t write as a hobby, it is my way of life, my way of expressing my innermost being to the harsh world outside. They join forces to make me the dynamic and unique individual I am today.

Great listener and humanitarian, I strive for the best and I don’t settle for less. Everything I have I earned, everything I want I will work hard to achieve.

Majority of my writing can be found on my blog site Poetic MindState http://tjefferson85.com .

Above all thanks for welcoming me into your hearts and minds the best is yet to come!
