So , there is a lot of smart & wise people on this site and , I have this theory running in my blood for awhile , and tonight , I'd like to lay it down like a piece of meat to the wolves !!! My theory is : That the concept of "heaven and hell" were misinterprated due to translations , time lapse , etc ... The true meaning is : It's not a place we go when we die ... but rather : a living condition on earth , that depends of our actions , we bring heaven or hell around us , in our current life on earth !!! That's it , short , simple and with deep meaning !!!
I think that's pretty much it. Although, when we die, I believe our spirit experiences everything it put forth in life, so it can learn from it and grow for the next cycle. But, in a way, Heaven and Hell are on earth also.
maybe, but im willig to bet you have not a shred of evidence for this and its just mere speculation. i think the hell and heven concept are for really weak minded people that think there is someone keeping count of their good deeds and will repay them later, like its some kind of spiritual credit. if you do good deeds you should do them without expecting any kind of reward in the end.
Heaven and hell were invented by the church to keep people in line . I believe in the soul and an after life . I believe we each create our own reality hear and in an after life. If we believe we need to "go to hell " we will , and join others who believe the same thing . If it is heaven , or the happy hunting ground of the north American Indains , we believe we belong we will go there. I read a book on astral realms , it described a area where people had made banks, schools , shops , ect , just like they had when they were alive . They were in denial . desert rat
Sounds like a good idea, but what about nde where people report going to Hell Realms? Would you interpret that as a literal place hell they go and return from? would you say that is a psychological hell they are going through before they die? what do you make of it?
I agree that there's no physical place heaven or hell. When someone does bad things, they increase their own pain in this world. Not just guilt, but also in changing their thinking and direction in life, and loosing sight of the good things in life as well. As Master Yoda said, "If once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny". That is a very well worded statement, which explains it well. Hell is basically the dark path. It is a path which brings much emotional pain to you and others around you. The forgiveness thing is the only way off the "dark path", but it is also extremely difficult to obtain. It is not God's forgiveness, but rather you must forgive yourself, which is extremely difficult. Few obtain it. Guilt and emotional pain control people in more ways than you can imagine. Tony
