Will it be a hole forever after a year. I wish I had read this before I had take out mine for work it closed in about 2 hours. I had, had it pierced for 5 months and my boss told me I couldn't wear it to work. To bad after it closed he told me I could wear a clear stud, how nice of him to mention that huh? How much does it hurt to go through scar tissue? I want to get it repierced.
i got my vertical labret pierced through the scar tissue of my lip ring, and i was fine. BUT it had been a couple years since,so your case may be different. If you want it done you can't worry about the pain, it will be over in a matter of seconds. Just clean with sea salt and warm water mixed together, and rinse your mouth with original mouth wash after every meal. It should heal a decent amount in a month or so if you take care of it properly.
Wow, your boss is a sloppy ****! S/he probably did it on purpose, eh? Personally, I don't feel a difference when piercing through scar tissue. If you loved the spot of your ex-beloved lipring was then re-pierce it for sure. And put laxative in your boss' drink....Kidding (That could make you go to jail if caught) Good luck with it, post pic's when done <3
What a dick! I bought a clear lip ring for that exact reason, the only problem is, because I have such a fat bottom lip, the ring just barely fits in it.. so it hurts like a bitch getting it in. Ah what we do for the love of body modifications. haha
