Hi! and Hello just joined the forum. have been following the threads for about two years. I'll be heading back over to A'dam on Sept. 21st-26th, then over to October Fest in Muenchen Sept.26th-29th. I read that the cup winning bud this year was the Willy Nelson. I believe that Barney's is where it can be found? I was over in A'dam Nov. 2005 and some of the best weed I found was at amnesia,grey area,and rokerj. Sorry to see Nemesis' map taken away I saved it on my favorites. I was heading over this year with two friends (females) who like to shop and was wondering if I could gather a little info for them any would be appreciated.
There's a nice open air market right by the flower market that had some cute things. I bought 2 shirts there... first time I bought clothes but it was the third open air market I had been to. Is that the kind of shopping you mean? There are tons of souvenir shops all around the city with plenty of shopping. There are stores everywhere so they won't encounter a boring time as far as that goes. I can tell you the Willie Nelson at Barney's is AWESOME. I was just there days ago and wished I had bought more of it, however, it was my last full day there and I wasn't buying much more of anything. The Blue Cheese at Bluebird was GREAT and right now one of the best weeds there is Black Widow at Katsu. LOVED that one! I suppose those were my favorite 3 this time. Amnesia Haze was really great a few months ago when I tried it at Amnesia. This time I tried Mako Haze (not from Amnesia) and that was okay as well, but I don't think as good as Amnesia Haze. Super Silver Haze is always a good strain. That's pretty much all my local friend there smokes. I personally love NYC Diesel... the taste is something to be treasured. GOTTA try that when you go!! take a train from amsterdam to beverwijk and visit the beverwijk bazaar. its 15+ wearhouses full of items being sold. most of it is junk but you always find something you love!
my advise too is to get the hell outa amsterdam....visit some nice nearby city's such as haarlem, utrecht, den haag, zandfoort (seashore).....and forget about the stinkin city of amsterdam! if you like...
Thanks for the info guys and gal. I'll definitely start checking the seashore for places to visit with the women. Plus I'll make sure to hit Barney's for breakfast with Willy!
