Bush's foreign policy is in disarray because the carpet is being pulled underneath him via Congress.

Good one--How anyone could actually own up to being a repu--uh---repub--oh hell,I can't even bring myself to utter that nasty word anymore! The regular folks that claim to be--uh--that word, are either wilfully ignorant or evil. There's no other choice at this point in time.I just hope to hell WE,THE PEOPLE can somehow turn this country around.Frankly,I'm very concerned for Obama's life.I was around when the conservatives took out the Kennedys and MLK.If he starts getting many, many people behind him,the cons will resort to what they do best----DESTROY!

Whoever thinks that government should be run as efficiantly as a buisness should look at that to see how a buisness treats employees. Adding a workmans comp attitude to the eternal army beauracracy is no way to treat an injured hero. (Yes, "hero". They put their body on the line to protect me. It doesn't matter that they were responding to lies. Their body, they're heros.)

NO NO. "I broke it, I bought it" is a nasty attitude to take with someone who doesn't want to sell.

It's refreshing and nice to see that some people on this site DO care about our veterans and returning injured/disabled military personnel. That doesn't happen very often here. I've actually read posts that said all soldiers and police should die horrible deaths.

    Thank you.

If we truly support our troops the American public should not rest until the practices currently used of denying support to wounded soldiers and the conditions under which they are cared for are revised and improved.

If just a small portion of the war profits that Haliburton has reaped were used for the care of returning soldiers things would be improved.

But it comes as no suprise to me that this administration continues to turn a blind eye to the neglect and abuse these returning soldiers have to endure, since it saves them money.

Maybe this is how the government elites view their soldiers.

As a former member of the military, I can tell you that the Kissinger quote was accurate post-Reagan era. Bush I shit on us (shame on him as a veteran) Clinton only publicly appreciated us, and Bush II has tossed us around at his "will". We were (are) chattel.

I truly wish we lived in a world where military forces were not necessary. Unlike the current administration, I no longer believe in forces of good and evil. Only the evil that men and mankind perpetrate on each other and eventually, themselves. I support the troops, not the actions that put them where they are. To date, 15 of my closest friends are lying in various veterans cemetaries around the country. I don't know how many are missing hands, limbs, eyes... George Bush and his cronies are responsible. Execution is too good for him. He should be exiled to Iraq to live out his days in fear and shame among the people he has hurt.
