In Florida, we're going to have a PPP (Preferred Presidential Primary) in March. This is only to see how the voters stand on which candidate is viable. I'm registered as NPA (No Party Affiliation) but plan on changing my registration to GOP if anyone is on the ballot besides Trump. Hey, anything that pisses him off just tickles me pink. And then I'll switch again to DEM for their primary and vote for Pete. Then, after the primary, I'll just switch right back to my preferred NPA. Folks, we have that right!
i have registered, back when i was a dumb kid who believed in politics. i've moved several times since then though, so it's no longer active. i have also learned that the idea of getting out of jury duty by not registering to vote is a myth.
Last time I voted I wrote.my own box that said Peyton Manning. Then I drew a huge hair cock on it. With stink lines.
Yep. And just to top it off, I wore a shirt that said in big bold letter CHRISTIAN'S TO THE LIONS cause I had to vote at a community church and figured if I wore this no one would bother me and they did not bother me.
Well if ya all are too cool to vote then all the nutjob commies and bible thumpers that do vote get a bigger influence on the result
I do agree that the system sucks and voting is mostly a scam with the two ruling parties. But keep in mind that about 30% of the voters are going to vote to keep the current administration in office next year, no matter how bad things are by then. And they'd swim a river to get to the voting place, if they had to. Oh, and remember, there's more than just political offices on the ballots. There could be decisions about marijuana or other topics that are of real concern to you. And, about churches being voting places? Wrong, just wrong! That's as bad as the preaching politics from the pulpits that goes on.
I vote at a church. In principle I guess it isnt right but in practice it's the same as voting anywhere else. The polls arent operated by church members or anything. Plus I can walk there so that's cool
I don't have to walk anywhere Me darlin' - our local Council (via the Postal Service) delivers my ballot paper to me here at home, I complete the ballot and pop it back in the post - job done !!!
I'm wondering if you were at the Oklahoma state capital yesterday celebrating with the other 2nd Amendment Trumpers?
Moi? Seriously? That's the stupidest law I ever heard of, an will no doubt cost the state innocent lives. I was home mourning.
I still can't believe it. Open carry and you don't need a permit. Really? But at least you can't in government buildings, sporting events, and casinos. Oh, and that reminds me of something sort of funny... When I got out of the military, I spent a couple of years as a pig in Norman, OK. Every home football game, we all had an intersection to direct traffic and, just before kick-off, someone would come around and give us a ride to the game. We didn't have seats and just stood behind the goal posts in the end zone. I was a fan of the Sooners back then. One game was close and a pass was intercepted by the visiting team and the player was running straight at me and was going to score. I, actually, felt my hand going down to my gun in my holster. Man, the dangers of open carry!
