Its something ive never believed in before, yet ive had a recent experience thats made me believe. I found someone that i immediately connected with, just knowing from the get go that we understood each other. This was just over a month of messaging. When we met in person at a Soma Sonic night, we danced and kissed and i felt complete. Ive never danced with anyone before yet our bodies moved together in perfect sync. Both of us following a different part of the song yet each move perfectly complemented the others. The entire experience felt like our souls were merging. It felt like we'd known each other for years and we were just reminding each other of who we were. This feeling has continued and we both have felt the same things. She tells me things that i've been thinking about. Shes the girl ive been waiting for all my lives Please if anyone else has experienced something like this share it so that i know there are others out there who can have such a beautiful bond
My girlfriend tells me she knew right away but it took me until the 2nd date. Typical guy always the last to know .lol
Did you here the one about the two homosexuals who met in prison and fell in love? They found their cell-mate.
It is funny, because the man I am with, we are both very attached to each other, but not because of who we are now, but because of who we are going to be in the next two or so years and the years after that. We are currently military. I joined to pay for college, and he has been in for years and going to retire soon, with great perspectives when he retires. He knows that I will be successful in my career after I graduate college (which I am currently attending), and I know he will be successful. We know that each other are great time investments, as well as the other parts, looks, financially secure, etc., so we put up with the bullshit in between (months away from each other, only emails, phone calls, etc). I wonder, are we soul mates because we are both looking for good investments, when "love" is supposed to be something deeper than that, according to movies and the belief of the majority of the population? If so, yes, I believe I have met my soul mate. After two and a half years, it seems to be working.
Don't fall in love thinking you are going to change that person. If you can't love them for what they are now ,you may never love them.
I don't believe in 'soul mates'... But I totally married my best friend 15 years ago and it's been awesome.
Yeah, "soul mate" seems to be a lot to live up to. I have flaws and so does the mister, but we are a good match and have been happy (with ups and downs) for almost 18 years. Really, the whole soul mate thing sounds kind of unrealistic and crazy in a Fatal Attraction kind of way.
