    Bruised your lower calf muscle.

I tried to pole-vault with this long wood pole the other night just fucking off and it snapped and smacked my lower calf muscle on the back side.....I said, ohhh thats gonna hurt.

    And shit does it ever.

sounds paaainful. I used to get cramps in my lower calf muscle a lot. And right along my shin, vertical-like. Hard to stretch the actual hurt bit, you just have to do lots of general leg-stretches to make it hurt less in the long run

Ahh, that sounds really bad. I can imagine it must be quite sore there. I'm glad this has never happened to me, though I did suddenly fall at an athletics carnival once when I was a little kid, but not that terribly. Did you put some ice on it later? Well, take care!

Honey, you're 37 years old, not a kid anymore, your body isn't exactly meant to be doing stunts like that right now. [IMG]

Seriously though, I'm sorry you're hurting. It sounds really painful. I hope it's feeling better today for you.

I got hit with a baseball in my calf a few years ago and I still have a slight bruise on my calf from it.

Hurt like hell and the bruise looked like a baseball. It still looked like a new bruise two years after.
