Have you ever caught a fish?

I have. I have caught sharks in the Gulf of Mexico Off the coast of Texas by the oil rigs

 

I used to love fly catching, and beach casting.. great fun, and relaxing..
Tbh I only did beach casting once.. wont forget it fast..

 

I caught a piranha in the Amazon. That was the only fish i caught and the only time i went fishing.

Well yeah. I really didn't realize that fishing was something that could be avoided over an entire lifetime.

 

I enjoy fishing. I'm not good at at. I just do a triple knot and toss the line in. Sometimes I catch sometimes I don't. I don't think you need to be a finicky fishing like the old guys say. If a fish is hungry, it'll it.

 

I caught a walleye this year, but I had to throw it back, because it was too small. It was my first time.

 

I have stream fished for trout and caught some - great eating cooked over a campfire.

Also have caught redfish from a party boat in the Gulf of Mexico.

 

Probably the best fish I caught was a Sgt. Baker off south east coast of Australia in a boat. I also caught a cuttlefish that day.

Trout fishing is what we'd normally do with the family, though these days I go carp bashing. It's illegal to release a carp if you catch one here as they ruin native habitats by eating the banks away. So, they fight hard initially, grow big, reel em in for the crows.

 

Haven't done any fishing since 1983, 84... somewhere in there.

 

Fish are delish. It's too bad there's no seafood around here. What I really want is some fried calimari. Even though octopi are really smart and it's probably evil to eat them.

 

Calamari, prawn and crab, with some clam and a twist of lemon.. toss in some flour.. shallow fry...on a bed of pasta.. drizzle with some melted lemon butter... yummy..

 

My brother-in-law is a seafood chef and he serves it with this dip made out of banana peppers. It's so tasty.

 

Yeah, one time when I was a kid, they were biting so fast I stopped using bait and just started throwing an empty hook in, and I was still catching them.

not really. I think I was fishing once in Nebraska when I was younger than 10. I can't remember clearly if I caught a fish or not. I have a feeling I did though, but no pictures.

I've helped with nets on luv's boat but I don't know if that really counts as ME catching a fish. I've got them out of nets.

 

Oh well then you caught the fish, all they did was reel it in but you caught it in the net. Can't argue with that logic.

Now the next time you tell that story I want it to sound like this.

I'm just trying to think if my wife had caught a fish lol. I'm sure I've given her the reel before. Yes. And she didn't know what to do and I said just hold it while I get the net. then I gave her the net. So she's NetGirl too.

Now, NetGirl is fucken hot just sayin. She wear fishnets and has fish powers... And shoots spiderman webs but nets.
