Yes, unfortunately.A couple years ago got arrested illegally for political reasons though they tried to claim it was something else.

Long story short was squatting a building with friends in an area of town with a lot of squats and left wing political activity going on. They weren't happy we'd recently opened the 5th squat on one road so they were looking to evict us illegally as it would take months through the courts. Had the door kicked in and was jumped on by four coppers, arrested for criminal damage (changing a lock and putting a new bolt on the door), theft-abstraction of electricity (though we weren't using power as we were going to change the bills to our name the next day, hell, when they came in I was listeing to a battery powered radio in a room without electricity lit by candles) and possesion of a controlled substance (a small strip of lsd in my room, though they took my hash and didn't say anything cos I told them where it was).

After 23.5 hrs solitary in a 2.5m x 3.5m cell and 6 months on bail the Criminal Damage and Abstraction charges were dropped as they had insufficient evidence (and I was innocent after all, they had no right to kick the door in, no crime had been committed and they had no warrant) and I got a caution and a slap on the wrist for the acid. I could have prosecuted any of the officers in charge that day but, hey, when you can't afford a lawyer it's not so easy to sue the police huh.

Made me lose most faith I have in our police force.

No but I also had a run in a couple weeks ago. Was shooting .22s and the neighbors got butt hurt about it.

 

I was up in indiana and we decieded to meet up with some friends at toms donuts. So we got there got some donuts and were sitting in the back of my buddies truck just talking and try to figure out what to do. Well we're just chilling there for about maybe 45 minutes to an hour and two cops come along shinning flashlights in our eyes. They ask us for ID's then ask us if we know why were out there. We all say no and they say we got a call that some kids are out smoking weed in the back of truck. Which is rediculous since two of the people dont smoke weed and me and the girl that do didnt even have anything on us, plus we are on the main road in town so like we would be that stupid to smoke weed there. So they tell us to step down and they pat everyone down which im not even sure they can do considering they didnt if ask us. Well i wasnt gonna bitch about it since i didnt have anything on me but i should have since the cop fucking molested me and grabed my dick. Well i think that there wasnt a call that they just saw some kids and were looking to get some arrests.
