Yes. It's either: If your wearing the hat in class it's: 1.) Distracting to the learning enviroment If your wearing it during lunch or something then they say: 2.) It can be gang related.
my daughter's school says it's so they can see your face more clearly on the security cameras, but there's no backpacks allowed too, what an environment. Really a sad statement on the world we live in now.
no one was aloud to wear a hat I wore hats, but I wore very cool hats.... never once got in trouble....

No we wear hats and sunglasses in class if we want to.... On another note i saw a dude walking around dressed as the dude from Scream, and another wearing a Lone Ranger outfit and another in a Chemical waste suit thingy...oh man
no backpacks?? thats amazingly crappy.. and i thought that schools who made them have see-through booksacks were bad... my schoool doesn't allow hats, too.. but i had rad teachers last years, so they let me wear my hat in class..
I want to wear a cloak with a pirate hat one day just to see what they'll do. Shit, I should dress like a pirate every single day.
