From its mass market inaugaration roughly ten years ago has the Internet turned out the way you thought it would? Who would have thought that a 23 year old could own a website worth $1.5bn and turn down an offer for it (Facebook) Frankly I find it slightly disturbing that one website could make one single person so rich.
I didn't ever really give it much thought. We're going to be rich one day from a website. I just hope that day comes soon.
Until there's a port on my computer which will allow me to plug my consciousness directly into the high-speed internet super highway - I'll never be staisfied Hotwater
I remember back when the internet was pretty much all bulletin boards and a graphics interface was something you only came about from time to time. Haha. I remember dialing up with a 14.4 modem and being completely overjoyed when my dad bought a modem that was sooooooo fast at 28.8. Did it turn out the way I thought? I was 11, so not really.
Well, I was five years old ten years ago, so I don't think I really had much of an idea. I can't really think of a different way for the Internet to be, though. I like it....a lot.
