Has anyone ever ordered from Gypsy Rose's website? They have tons of cool stuff that I like on there but, the website isn't put together very well nor is it kept up very well. Half the pictures are broken links. It's just not the most professional site so I am not so sure I trust ordering anything from it... Can anyone shed any light about their trustworthiness?
i've ordered a few things from them before good stuff but i will warn you shipping takes forever! that was the only bad experince i had with them.
I order from them alot, I actually just ordered a whole bunch of decals and they were here in about a week.
I've ordered stuff from them. I got a bunch of patches. Some of them were out of stock, so I had to wait an extra week or two, and they sent me a letter of apology (hand written) and didn't charge extra shipping for it.
yeah, i've ordered from them - ups took it to the wrong street, but it was actually attempted delivery on the right day. i got a baseball type hat for my hubby, he has a big head though and it didn't really fit well. i just wanted the patch off it for him anyways...
request a catalog from them, their catalog rocks...has all of their products. thw website sucks though
i have ordered a few things from them and they are great! I wear them all the time!! I love gypsy rose
The website never works for me. None of the pictures of products appear for me. I emailed them about it and they never replied
I ordered some small items from them a few years back and not only did it take two months to get to me, one of the items was broken and the other not at all what I ordered. I sent them an email and didn't hear back from them for almost 6 months. When they finally replied to me they told me to send back the items and they would straighten out my order. I told them that I just wanted a refund and they refused. I would never recommend them to anyone.
Bree, have you thought about phone ordering? That way you can ask: is this in stock, oh, cool what colors do you have (most Guatemalan stuff is you get what you get) and check out my gallery, sis. Somone got a pic of me...eeek.
Hmm I guess I could break them into the wonderful world of Relay, LOL I lost my catalogue and ordered another so have to wait til I get it in. I saw TWO pics of you AND they show your face. Too cute!
Long flowy (comfy) skirt, some unique pants, like some of the indian print ones, and an embroidered top. I have some neat t-shirts and I wanted some things to wear with them besides jeans and capris (I don't wear shorts or athletic pants in public) but I want something different and comfy.
Hei! Well as I'm from estonia, they don't have cool hippy clothes here.. I've been looking from allkind of shops and even from second hand shops.. nothing anywhere.. so.. tell me please, where I could find some? interested in shirts right now....
The smokeshop I used to work for ordered wholesale from Gypsy Rose all the time, and shipping was usually a little slower than other vendors. the product was great. I think most of the clothing in my closet is from gypsy rose. Things are generally well made, and things generally fit well. I used to have trouble with the dresses and some tops because I'm a little busty (34D), but the skirts and pants and kurtas are great. The hats, bags, stickers, scarves are all good too. My only word of caution would be to hand wash everything seperately in cold water. Alot of the clothing is imported and not exactly colorfast. I accidently tossed a hot pink peasant skirt in the wash with my jeans (dont know how that one slipped through) and had to do some creative laundering to de-pink all my pants.
A friend of mine works for a guy who orders wholesale from Gypsy Rose, and hes never had any problems. I bought a skirt from them and love it...very good quality. I would just make sure that if you order online that they get the order right. Good luck.
Gypsy Rose has been around for years and are trustworthy. I've used the wholesale catalog from time to time but I rather buy from individuals when I can. Dunno about their website, just get their catalog.
yeah...their catalog is the way to go, it's free and always has cool art work on the front...i love gypsy rose..but the site def. is not put together well.
i love gypsyrose. in fact, i am currently ordering some clothing from them right now. they have the COOLEST stuff ever, theyre reliable, just don't order from their website. its not well put together, and i think its under construction. either call them by phone or order a catalog. the number is 1-888-gypsy. when you do order clothing, do not wash them all the time. hand wash them in cold water because alot of their clothing is handmade and is created by people in jungles/camps.
