i saw the movie yesterday. i liked it a lot until the end... it wasnt a bad ending, it just seemed very rushed.

 

yes, it did seem rushed
but it was good anyway!

in the episode of enterprise that was just on a character was in a room with warp reactor coolant for about 15 minutes, one of the primary plot points of star trek first contact is that warp reactor coolent destroys all organic material pretty damn quick... the only peril he faced was radiation

enterprise supposedly was set in a universe created when the u.s.s voyager was sent back in time to 1996 and a ship from the 29th century was sent to the 1960's, not only are ther e problems with this in the date that enterprise set for the birth of khan noonien singh, (who in the original star trek timeline took over all of asia in 1996)

the biggest problem with this alternate universe theory though is an episode of enterprise where some borg are discovered on earth who supposedly fell from the borg queens sphere when it was hit by a full spread of quantum torpedoes in high orbit of earth with it's shields down in the original star trek universe.....


so not only did these two borg fall from space, and survive, but they also went from one universe to another........

I pwn at nitpicking....

 

what was up with the dance scene? They slaughtered that scene by adding rock music. It totally destroyed the magic and nostalgia that's conveyed in the books and prior movies.

 

i know..
but i liked it

besides, they do have a band that plays in the books...
