    Hi,

Just curious if anyone had any information about the Hare Krishna religious movement.

I bought a book from one of their monks or whatever at Bonnaroo, and I just now got around to reading it.

I looked up information online and some people praise it as the source of happiness and others say it's a sham and a cult.

Just wondering if anyone had any first hand knowledge?

    peace!

Well judging by personal testimonies in books, the movement can belong to either pole or someplace in between...

    You're welcome.:)

As I said, there's a lot of info and discussion on that thread, which was put together over quite a long period.
    - I'd just add that there have been some problems in ISKCON over the years, but they are all man-made ones. The underlying philosophy is good.

    Shanti.
