When I was an undergrad in need of science course for the matriculative distribution requirements. They referred to the disciplines as liberal arts, soft sciences and hard sciences. Do you find this distinction/differentiation obnoxious? Any idea what they call them now? or if they do this any more?
What is soft/hard? I always thought soft science were the social sciences, the economic and political sciences, things that really can't be tested or proven, and the "hard" sciences were phisics, biology, stuff like that. Ofcourse, I could be completely mistaken.
