if you had a hard drive about six months old which developed some bad sectors ... but you fixed them with the manufacturer's software tool ... would you still return it under warranty?
If it actually fixed the bad sectors and it works fine, then keep it. However I would keep the return date in mind and watch for any more sectors. If any more do go bad, then return it.
