Who cares! Now all the women guzzle this wine and run naked thru the woods with me screaming like a bunch of crazed banshees! Ok it's a little cold and windy here today, but tomorrow, yeah tomorrow, for sure.
OSTARA pronounced O-STAR-AH is one of the Wiccan Sabbats, traditionally celebrated on the Vernal or Spring Equinox, also known as Ostara, Eostre, Rite of Eostre, Lady’s Day, Alban Eilir, and the Festival of Trees. Also the beginning of the Astrological Wheel, the entrance of Aries, a very magical time for Wiccan pagans and many Witches, when we aknowledge a new cycle of life. Occurs: Tuesday, March 20th, 2008, 05:48 Universal Time. The name for the Ostara Sabbat is from the Teutonic lunar Goddess Eostre. Goddess Eostre’s symbols were the rabbit, associated with fertility, also because Ancient worshippers often saw the rabbit when looking at the full moon. Eostre was associated with the Egg, for cosmic creation. This is how “Easter Eggs” and the “Easter Bunny” came to us. Ostara is when we celebrate the initiation of Spring, and look towards the verdant summer.
