Well....I liked it. I'd like to thing of Jesus as human and him having a dancing party for his birthday.
why do we call it that? the day we call all hallows is more likely. but it is near the shortest day of the year, which makes it a natural time to celebrate. and peace is good, and the guy did defeat rome, 300 years after they killed him. by preaching peace, when it became obvious, that leading an armed resistence, which he began doing at the age of 12, wasn't going to do the job. of course he didn't really set out to defeat the roman empire, just free his homeland and its people from its tyranny. christianity makes a lot of mumbo jumbo about this, but he really was a good guy and a hero. who died a hero's death, being exicuted as an enimy combatant, by an empire, that while it may not have intended to be evil, its forign policy was tyranical, and its power seemed undefeatable.
he was just as human as moses, mohamid, buda, krisna, lao tsu, and every other revealer of organized belief, who, like all of them, may have been chosen, by one god, or godlike being, to channel it.
