I never made it to SF... I lived in Mariposa CA for 4 years and that would have been a 3+ hour drive, give or take, but I never had the time to do it. Worked to damn hard back then... Now I can't.

 

The University is on summer break so everything closes early for the next week or so.

So, need to head down to the gym to take a shower before they close.

Oh, and for anybody who missed the '60s, the whole house is a time machine. There is a panel on the right hand wall as you walk out of the front door, and you can set the street that is out the door to 64, or 2012, or 73 or 69 or 67 or whatever. The home base location setting on the panel is
1915 Oak Street.

Panel setting can open the door to walk out into anywhere. Stillcrazy's fesitval, a street in London or Atlanta, Ohio, the Oregon Country Fair, your own street and home. And in whatever time. That's just going in and out of the front door.

There is a panel in the living room that moves the whole house and yard anywhere in time and space. (please keep it to places with an atmosphere and a air pressure of roughly 1 atmosphere of pressure. Sos not to die. There is an auto setting for this.)

There is already massive stereo systems in almost every first floor and basement room, any format and computers with youtube and iTunes with a 2 terabyte external hard drive thousands of 60s Bands and full discography LiBRaRies attached to each computer. Welcome to Worderland. It's wonderful.

There are also others, imaginary people who trip through here who are all a part of the fantasy. Many are the faces who you can see in the 60s photos section of this Hipforums site.

The Elevator is between both of the stairs across from the bath rooms. All stair also have those sit and ride things that go up and down the stair.

Kitchen has 2 dishwashers. 2 stoves and multiple ovens. A Kitchenaid mixer with a dough hook attachment. No need to kneed. Bread any time. Blenders for smoothies and frozen Margaritas. Commercial juicers. 2 refridges. Big freezer in the pantry. Full food pantry, with any kind of huge or small pan or pot or whatever. Super long backyard with monster garden in it, and a long fenced dog run to one side against the left hand fence. (the roof has NO water, and a 45 degree pitch to it.)

Makebelieve people walk through an leave thing behind for highs. Like the huge bag on the living room coffee table from last night. How about that?

And of course you can have a memorial plack. However if you look at the aerial view of the building and the "A" pitched roof, you see that if you slide down the roof you only end up on the neighboring flat roof top to ether side. LOL.
