Ha! My children are in New York state and are getting a storm. They are loving the snow. I must admit I am a little jealous. Doesn't snow here. I am sure they will be glad to be back home. It isn't freezing here.
If Candlemas Day be fair and bright, Winter will have another flight: But if it be dark with clouds and rain, Winter is gone and will not come again.
You'll have to move here, Ori! Fred la Marmotte here in Quebec didn’t see his shadow. Neither did Nova Scotia's Shubenacadie Sam. Silly Wiarton Willie from Ontario saw his. The dang thing sees it every year. I think the critter is on drugs and hallucinating. I'm going with Freddie and Sam, early spring!
Yeah, they see weather channel’s Jim Cantore standing outside during a blizzard and think it’s cool, until they actually have to shovel two feet of snow off the driveway and drive home over treacherous ice covered roads Hotwater
Sadly Blizzards are pretty much all its known for …and of course this song… E-RI-E Canal We were forty miles from Albany (and) Forget it I never shall. What a terrible storm we had one night On the E-ri-e Canal. Chorus: O the E-ri-e was a-rising And the gin was a-getting low. And I scarcely think we'll get a drink Till we get to Buff-a-lo-o-o Till we get to Buffalo. Hotwater
snow is part of nature. that cars are not made to deal with all of nature's diversity, is one more example of the wrong-headed-ness of cars. the snow is going to be there, no matter where you put the cars and the cities. with today's technology, we don't even need cities, not really. putting cars in cities is doubledumb. cars in cities where it snows is trippledumb. oh and happy sausage patty day.
