EDIT: this is pretty much the new thread subject if anyone cares, discuss, or let it die. (end edit) South Park's 200th episode was on tonight, and I have to say, it was fucking epic. For those of you who missed out, they brought back charactures and plots from every season. From Jenifer lopez, to the super best friends. This episode alone made up for the 3 stupid ones this season. I'm excited for the sequel next week. Happy birthday South Park! arty:
I think SP is my favorite show. I liked every episode this season, which ones didn't you like? TV shack dot net doesnt have it yet i guess.
I thought the sexual healing one was pretty lame, there were funny parts, but the plot got old after a while. I thought Medicinal fried chicken was great though, a was laughing pretty hard when they were bouncing around on their balls to the music. I think the episodes are getting progresively better though, they just had a weak start. Edit: looking back on the episodes, I guess the tiger woods one was the only one I really didn't like, but this is still the best so far.
*sigh* 201 dissapointed me way more than it should have... Fuck comedy central (at least, I hope they're to blame. It would be even worse if Matt and Trey pussied out)
my guess is comedy central was covering their ass since Matt and Trey's lives were threatened on a website after the show was aired.. google it PS: they didn't re-air it tonight either..
Yeah, I know the whole story. But I think that Matt and Trey would have still done it. They said in an interview before 200 that they were trying to get CC to let them show muhammed, they said they knew it'd be dangerous, but it would go against all their beliefs to set one group aside as "not ok to make fun of" With the position they were in, this episode was pretty clever (I bet itl be on the news the next few days) but it makes me sad that after all their attempts, it's still not ok to rip on Muslims. (I thought one of the cleverest things was when they had budda snorting coke and Jesus watching porn, but they couldn't show muhammed because he is a "religious figgure") either way, Matt and Trey are genius', but it still made me sad when they had to censor the whole conclusion to make their point.
http://www.tvduck.com/South-Park.html im not spaming but here they got all episodes with 30 links for each one. and the latest ones. btw the one with the kfc and weed was an amazing episode lol lol
Um... Matt and Trey support file sharing, so all sp episodes are on their website uncensored and with way better quality than the hundreds of "FREE south park episodes!" sites.
South Park, you may not be my favorite show anymore, and I may hate about 50% of your new episodes, but you are something special. You pushed the rights that Larry Flynt and his lawyers enticed the Supreme Court to protect to new extremes. You made me laugh for years and have taught me much. I feel many of your lessons were wasted on the majority of your audience, but I'm listening. Except for when you are just blatantly annoying, then I turn you off.
true... When browsing the forums on their website, I was shocked at how incredibly stupid most of the people are. I always thought the underlying themes were genius, but not difficult to grasp. I guess I was wrong.
Oh my God! They killed comedy! Those bastards I am not really a fan of the show, it's a little tasteless, but congratulations to them at least.
that's because comedy central sells the rights to other companies..like TBS and such.. so they triple the money they make
Well, I always hated when I was in highschool, anytime something on the show became a popular quote, it was always the most baseless, ridiculous rubbish - the side of the show that I don't usually enjoy. Slowly, I realized, that these aren't the most funny jokes to most dumbasses - but the only ones they notice.
