Hi all! As you may know, this day is to celebrate the date that Albert Hoffman dosed himself with 250 ug LSD and rode his bike home from the lab. I believe this was the first intentional dose of LSD ever taken. Imagine that truly unique situation. You are the first human to ever ingest the substance, and end up taking quite a decent sized dose at that...all with no outside influence or expectations as to what will happen.

I don’t think I’ve tripped on bicycle day since my bachelor party 8 years ago.

I’ve recently got back into riding my bike. In the past four days I’ve rode 26, 22, 14, and 25 miles. Only thing that stinks is all the parks are closed due to coronavirus. I’d like to have a place to bike to, where I can then chill out for a bit in nature before biking home.

I’m thinking about taking a single hit off a ten strip that I’ve yet to try. It’s probably the same L as the other strips I’ve eaten up - got it from the same guy, just different blotter art. I’ve got a good list of songs I’d like to hear while tripping (MGMT, the strokes, Now Now, tropidelic) and I’ll definitely take a least a short ride.

Anyone else planning a trip today?

    Anyone else even in here?!

Tripping while everything is shutdown doesn't sound appealing to me. However, I do believe Hoffman's Bicycle trip was during World War 2 when there were shutdowns, so it is a proper nod to Hoffman.

I hope you don't mind me saying this guys, as I realise this is quite a serious topic.
    But that reminds me.
In our village there use to be a Woman who people referred to as The Village Bike.
She was an excellent ride, even in tandem and sometimes she was a tricycle!

I’m usually not trying to go anywhere public like that while tripping anyways. I mean parks and stuff would be cool but I managed pretty well just biking on the roads. Did a 20 mile ride on one solid hit....nicest bike ride I’ve take in NJ that’s for sure :)

Aren't you, like the rest of us, supposed to be in lock-down due to the Covid -19 virus ??? Your actions in going for lengthy bike-rides is totally irresponsible of you !!!:rage::rage::rage:

Also, Vlad, I took a nice ride the other day on a bike path south of town. It was nice and I didn't run into many people. Some wore the phoney home-made cloth masks that have become so popular, some wore the worthless white Monsanto masks with the nose strip, and nobody wore the effective HEPA respirators.
