I've been listening to a lot of Hank III lately. His new album is pretty fucking rockin. including a song writen and dedicated to G.G. Allin called PFF (punch fight fuck)
staight to hell is one of the best country albums. his "metal" band assjack is supposedly actually releasing an album soon, but he's been saying that for years.
Hank 3 is fuckin awesome.First time I saw him was in Lancaster PA,a friend of mine was showing him a guitar.we got in for soundcheck,my freind tommy smoked a doobie on the bus with him while showin him the ax.Got to get a pic with Joe Buck(his bassist).2nd time I got to see him was IL.,got an autograph,and was sore for 2 days from the pit.(gettin too old for that shit lol).lotsa PBR went in my throat,lotta great music,prolly the best performer I've seen in a long time
Hank 3 is fucking awesome!!!! If you haven't heard him you probably should. He's better and wilder than both his elders.
I just saw Hank III a month ago in Indianapolis. One of the best shows I've ever seen. He really gives a shit, he's one of the only true country artists out there these days.
Ya i just started getting into him. hes a fuckin dog and like RJ said one of the few true country singers out these days
And he sounds amazingly like good ole' Grandpa' when he want's to. Good stuff all around. Haven't heard him rip out any power chords yet, but I'll be on the lookout.
