I was just wondering if anyone else out there likes Handel's Messiah. Because even if you don't like Classical, you'll love Messiah. It's beautiful and uplifting. Actually, even if you're not particularly religious you'll appreciate it. In fact, if you are irreligious, and you ever wondered what religious ecstasy is like, listen to Messiah. No need to go to one of the concerts (they usu. come out around Christmastime, I've noticed--at least where I live). You can buy the whole Messiah on CD's. Or if you just want a taste of it, get the excerpts. (Excerpts used to be available. I don't know if they still are. Again, I noticed music stores carried them around Advent and Christmas.) Anyone else out there like Messiah?
