Halpz my dread is falling off!!!1!

I'm going to end up losing about 4 inches if it falls off. Can anyone give me advice on how to stop it without using thread or superglue. It looks worse than what it does in the picture and it's gradually getting thinner with each wash. I don't want to look lopsided!!1! HeLp YoU hIpPyS

 

I had a similar situation so I put a rubber band on it, then .5 seconds later I thought it was stupid so I tried to get it out and it was already gooped up.


It is still hanging on though!

 

what did you do to it? I would have thought that thin bit would hold but maybe you could put a bead or something around all those loose bits and hope it meshes together or failing that you can sew it.

I actually have no idea what I've done to it. I noticed it about maybe two weeks ago, prayed a silent prayer but it hasn't been answered.

I really don't want to let it fall off as it will be considerably short and stupid looking. I already feel stupid having a cows lick as it is. pffft.

 

yeah if its just 4 inches off of one of your fatty wonder dreads, id just let it go.. unless it realllllllly bugs you. your dreads are epic, I don't think you should sew or anything

yeah I was thinking the same thing.. maybe just fold it back just a bit then wrap it with something and then take off the wrap in a few months? or maybe fold it back a bit and crochet it some and then wrap it?

Yeah I already condition once a month. Heavily diluted of course. Gonna wait see if anyone else has any advice. If not, I'll just have to let it do it's own thing. Anyone want a piece of my DrEaDzOrz??
