it's a fun multiplayer game. i'll probably never own halo 3 though so i'm not particularly exited about it
I used to be semi-pro at halo. I quit wasting my time with it though. Not excited about halo 3 because I'll never own another console. Halo 2 blew complete ass so I don't give a shit about anything else they produce.

unreal tournament 3 > killzone 2 > haze > halo 3 or any halo funny how 3 best fps are all exclusive during launch to ps3, and MS seemed so smugg at the confirance. ps3 is going to kick ass, big time
I have nothing against the game itself, don't get me wrong. The single player is good, but they seriously dropped the ball when it came to PC co-op multiplay. A game with a single player plot-based option < a game with a single player plot-based option that you can play through with a friend. They knew this to be true when they released the console version, but claimed that issues with PC connections made them take it out of the PC version. Thing is, I can't see what's so special about Halo that seperates it from all the co-op mutiplay FPS games out there. You're only 16, so I'll forgive you for this. Give it another couple of years, and you'll realise that every moderately ground-breaking game that comes out is branded "one of the best games of all time". Quake was. Doom was. Wolfenstein 3d (the original) might have been, I'm not that old (yet). There are probably a few gamers here who remember when Ms Pac Man was given a 99.9% review and "unmissable" rating by a gaming magazine so old, their offices were insured from fire, theft and Viking raids.

^ have u played any of the red factions? killzone? unreal tournaments? halo 3 is hyped because its the only decent online fps shooter on the cheapest graphics concentrated next gen console: the 360. i played a demo of the first one and all i felt was missunderstanding of what ppl see in it. hell i even think crysis looks and probably will be shit compared to the fast paced UT3 action or even kill zone 2.

Not at all. Thing is, though, I'm guessing you're to young to remember when Quake (1996) was reviewed as one of the best games of all time. Same with Doom (1993). Same with Wolfenstein 3d (the original, not Return To Castle Wolfenstein...1992...you were one year old when it was OMG THE BEST GAME EVAR). Anyone who says a game is the greatest game of all time because a magazine said that just doesn't realise that there have been hundreds of games that were supposed to be amongst the best games of all time. So why did you have to justify your opinion by bringing the (glowing but pointless) reviews into it? In fact, why are you claiming that I'm accusing you of being incapable of making your own decisions when you were the one who brought magazine reviews into this? It's not that you like Halo...hell, I think it's good. It's that you think a magazine review heralding it as one of the best games ever will be relevant in ten years. And I don't like to be reminded I'm a motherfucker :tongue: On another note, I feel so fucking old after looking those years up.
it looks like a pretty sick game, and its fun with friends, and xbox live is fun, but live can get boring, becuase what r u proving, there will always be halo players 5949584848 better than you, and most of the time you spend on xobx live is super unproductive, becuase you have no real connection with the people you play on xbox live with
