halloween fabulousness

we dressed up at my school on friday in honour of halloween, and i captured a few moments from it. i mostly have pictures of my costume here because my mom wanted me to play model for her, but whatever. enjoy what ones you can. what's everyone else being? feel free to post your costume pics here.

I got the medusa thing right away, tho your makeup does look Cleopatraish. Hey, you guys rock! Great costumes and great sense of fun! Awesome~!

yeah, in that close up you DO look like liz taylor as cleopatra, 'cept for the hair of course. looks really good.

 

i was wearing a crown my friend lent me from when she was cleopatra one year, so that might be it. and the makeup, but i'm too used to doing it egyptian style from when i dance on big stages. my teacher always wants me to wear that much in shows but i'm never brave enough too. and when i do people think i'm egyptian or turkish and tell me i look like their daughter or sister or something. it's kinda neat. anyway i'm glad you guys liked the pics, i had wayy too much fun.

Awesome pics! How did you get those snakes to stay in your hair?

 

i made a wig out of a straw hat and rubber snakes. then i just wove my hair into it and such, it took a little while... but it was worth it.

 

and of course what would halloween be without a drag queen?

thanks, i did put quite a bit of work into it. i went into the dance studio i bellydance at last night and my teacher printed off a huge picture (the one in my sig) and stuck it on the wall. i was surprised to say the least! but they were sweet, they kept telling me it looked like a vogue ad or something. lol silly women
