Not too early for Halloween thoughts in my world. But I'm no good at these kind of suggestions because I just like traditional costumes like bat, witch, ghost, zombie.

This year I'm dressing up as a job so all the lazy suckers get scared and won't come to my house.

    Couple costumes are fun
We went as Edgar Allen Poe and the Raven a couple of years ago, that one was a hit

I am looking at Mr & Mrs BeetleJuice . Another one is Jason being handcuffed to a sexy Police Woman . The snag with the later is that her costume hem length is a little short for public viewing. Modesty shorts worn could be an option . Those are the 2, I am currently looking at. .

Political odd couple costumes are all the rage these days:

Bashar Assad and a civilian wounded in a mustard gas attack.
Boris Johnson and a map of Europe with the UK cut out.
A double-headed Trump and Putin and a torn copy of the nuclear disarmament agreement.

There are so many options! The world is your oyster.

Thanks . I think those would be a little too cryptic for the Halloween fancy dress party we are going to .

Still struggling a little bit with this. The ladies costumes are the trickiest to sort as there is a tendency for a lot of skin on show( mainly legs) ,which is fine if your young but perhaps not always the case with an older lady . It looks like we may be going as a couple of Ghostbusters . Gong to Manchester next Saturday to check out some costumes as seeing them on the web isn't always best.

I just bought a cheap dress from amazon - that looks similar to the one from google images, in my avatar. I've decided to go with a Wednesday Addams-esque theme for my Halloween costume this year. These dresses are nearly sold out, so I had to go with a long-ish sleeve version, but it'll work. I will buy black tights, and probably wear high heels or maybe flat black ballet type shoes, I'll think about it. My hair is really long now and I'll braid it and wear some eerie makeup. That was easy.

I like that idea. I can easily see myself as Wednesday lol. She was always an inspiration to be weird when I was a kid. Plus she kinda looks like a younger version of me a bit, at least with all the make up on.
    That's cool, I like that. :)

I'm probably not doing anything. I might go to a venue party but I doubt I'll dress in costume. I'll just go slutted up Goth or something.

Yea, the idea came to me when I was looking at other things and it’s so cheap and easy. Plus I could wear the dress to funerals after Halloween lol

  13. I'm pretty depressed, so I don't know if I'll dress up this year. Last year I dressed up as the Riddler, but all I did was lay in bed and watch scary movies. Maybe someone will invite me out this year, or maybe I'll just go to the bar for their Halloween shindig. In any case, I will put on facepaint and go as my own version of the Riddler again. It'll probably scare my friends, because they remember when I was doing it and it wasn't Halloween. hahaha

Going to a bar in fancy dress is a big draw to the fun for us. We went as a vampire and a vampires a couple of years ago and spent half of the night next to another couple we normally socialise with and they didn't recognise us .

That's where my user name comes from . Big Captain Scarlet fan . Agent Black would make a good theme for Halloween for perhaps a Gerri Anderson convention .

Oddly enough that is one I have looked at. We were looking at me being a burglar handcuffed to a WPC and then zombifying . However I am trying to get out of using grease paint this year if I can as it reacted badly with my skin last year and it wasn't the cheep pound shop stuff either.

I am keeping my skin clear this year ,fortunately for Ghostbusters we don't need to use any.
